Fifty years into the shoes of Michael Jackson, Yann Moix

Yann Moix has published this book in the disappearance of Michael Jackson, 2009. I had long promised to read it, I followed the author on TV shows and I was curious to know what he was saying. It is a small book of 14 chapters in which Yann Moix explains the artist's life, a way to answer his critics, especially on two points: the desire to become MJ White and charges pedophilia. I found the argument by Yann Moix very interesting, especially when it debunks the reputation of pedophile Michael.

All chapters will not play with the same interest, I would recommend in particular: "Man in reverse", "The impédophile" and also "Black and white", but especially the first "Death most universal of all time" because that is where the bulk is said. Yann Moix does not teach us a truth, he confirmed that each of the artist's contemporaries must have felt, unconsciously or not the exceptional character of this man, his destiny, his ability to unify people, just singing and dancing, and that person had previously succeeded in do:

"Michael Jackson is dead and that death is the most universal of all human history. [...] The world can never communicate in unison. Unless in the case where Michael mourn together, shoulder to elbow, back each other moral support themselves as brothers, juifgs, Muslims, Catholics, Orthodox, Buddhists, Protestants, animists, Communists and atheists. It's the same prayer, invented specially for the occasion, which seems to print in this grieving unprecedented. "
(Fifty years into the skin Michael Jackson, pages 18-19)

Farther:

"Now that the earth is crying, Muslims, Jews, atheists and Christians, a tear identical and universal impeccably warming, we are delighted at least one thing: that people can suffer pain together. Michael (...) we have brought something unexpected: the first World Peace. " (p. 51)

These are the last words that make me happy to read this book, everything else is secondary for me and almost useless. I have already spoken on the loss of this exceptional man in the article "Michael Jackson will he in heaven?" and this book gives me the opportunity to go further.

In fact, what can we learn from MJ? Or rather what needs to be learned from more important? Well this: it is one of the lucky men to have accomplished their mission. Michael Jackson is a perfect illustration of the parable of the talents that you can read in the Gospels (Matthew 25: 14 to 30 or Luke 19 : 11 to 26).

In summary, here's the story: A lord, before going on a long journey, called his servants and gave them each a good (or called "talent" or "mine"), say a sum of money, not the same, it calculates based on the capacity of each. On his return, he reminds him that they realize what they did with that money. The first, second, did grow, and relate the amount double what they had initially received. The third back, sheepishly: he found no better than to bury what he had been given and therefore reported the same thing. This lack of common sense, of course, causes the wrath of the master: "if you were unable to grow my money, or too lazy to do it, why did not you put it in the bank for me back at least interest? "And this one to take back the money and ; to give to another.

is my firm conviction that we have all received, at birth something. It is our responsibility not only to discover it, but to work for something that This gift flourish and informs the other. We have not all received the same degree, but each according to his personality, according to his ability. But it is clear he must polish the property given to us at birth crude, refine it, embellish it but especially the development. If we do not, we missed our life.

Michael Jackson knew very early on, developing talent that was in him. He had brothers and sisters, who have nevertheless been raised like him, in the same house, who also sang well, danced well, but only he wowed the world in a manner all his own, because it was given to him to be like a messiah who would bring peace to the world. I'm not saying that MJ did not deserve: the parable clearly shows the work ahead for the growth of this precious asset received. And MJ was a hard worker, I need not remind you what a genius he was , what artist! Others would work fine, and even today, we will make every good effort to dance like him, sing it, it will never be as perfect as Michael himself: " He had copies, but it has been added. Nobody else would have been him "concludes Yann Moix. Dancing, singing was a way, but the mission was peace in the world, the brotherhood of peoples.

MJ had a role to play in this world do that all the barriers crumble like the walls of Jericho with the sound of his voice. He did not need to bludgeon people over the heads of sermons, to make calls to conversion, to invite people to love each other. He sang, he danced simply and in the world, people joined hands to form a chain of friendship purest and most disinterested, the most true.

In this world increasingly closed to anything that is religious or not religious in a way that disguised, superficial, rigid, it is good that he is among men one who, without formally ; work of religion is nevertheless more efficient than most religious belief. Michael Jackson is proof that true religion is not so in compliance: the fact of placing or not to veil, to drink or not drink alcohol, attend or not attend church regularly, read or not read a holy book ... she confesses that in your entire life.

To return to the parable of the talents, it goes for men as for nations or peoples. Each receives a talent to grow for the good of all humanity. Therefore it is vain to say to each other: it is we who have invented this, it was we who invented it, that you were given, and if you do not, someone else will for you. It's like the business: it is not given to everyone to be a doctor, engineer, teacher or whatnot, you'll do fine, though you can get by in another domain than that was yours by choice but it will never be the same as the one who is entitled to this area.

Well it must be concluded that I, otherwise I'll stop over. At the end of the year, I invite you to discover, develop, or the shining gifts that you received from ... if the word "God" bothers you, put "Nature" because you agree with me that we do not all the same abilities, and especially not in the same proportions. I will cite another example, in addition to the music literature. All writers have the same stature. There are some who, even with a only little work, fast gaining a certain height where others will take years of hard work, and to only a third of that height. All writers have the same stature, but all contribute, each in its own way to happiness readers. I might also add: not all are writers born. I see you coming, you want me to give you some examples of writers born. Willingly. I just have to watch my reading list 2010 and two names are needed immediately: Romain Gary, Toni Morrison. When you read those two, it is clear that they were called, sooner or later write. It was fun to swim in their texts, it is comfortable, we feel good, you're home.
