How To Have An Orgasim With Objects

Heart Children Leopards theater!

Tuesday 1st March: the first stage adaptation of the novel and remarkable noticed Wilfried Nsondé, Heart Children Leopards, staged by Dieudonné Niangouna and performed by Criss Niangouna, two brothers in the name well known by generations and generations of students. Indeed, the late Niangouna, professor emeritus, taught my mother before I became, in turn, one of his students. But it is in the arts and not the education that they illustrate, and his son are there as ... no, not like fish in water, recount the tokens vocabulary, they are more like princes in their kingdom and were guests of honor yesterday at the Theatre Le Tarmac de la Villette.

I expected the author to present this "first", carrying with me my copy of the novel in hopes of letting me autograph. My predictions have proven accurate: Wilfried Nsondé was there. His feeling after the show? Do not be so hurry, first read this excerpt from the interview published in the Journal of Tarmac "No. 40:

Bernard Magnier: In a few weeks your novel, The Heart children leopard, will be presented in Paris. See the text adapted for the stage is without doubt an intense moment, perhaps a mixture of fear and excitement, in what mood are you?
Wilfried Nsondé: I feel like a crazy adventure that refuses to stop, Heart Children leopards insists he wants to continue to exist. The text has completely surpassed my expectations and hopes, it's unbelievable. I can not wait to hear the voice of my characters, and confront me with their eyes. I expect a very rich experience and outstanding. I also find it difficult to clearly explain my state of mind, I do not really realize that my novel will live TARMAC, excellent scene in eastern Paris. the place is also a symbol, is the Paris I love the diversity and openness, which are pervasive themes in the text.

And after the show? I discussed a few minutes with the author and his sense of satisfaction that joined the public if the public was finally like me. I was curious to see how the text would be played and I must say that this adjustment makes although the text, especially the spiral of questions in which the main character is driven, the prison where he is and who is the image of the prison of prejudices which we tend to lock up "young people of Immigration. " I invite you to read my review of the novel: http://lissdanslavalleedeslivres.blogspot.com/2009/01/le-coeur-des-enfants-lopards-wilfried.html

Other excerpts from the Journal of Tarmac:

You have chosen to translate this novel into a monologue, how are you going "live" the other characters in the novel?
Dieudonne Niangouna: You know, you should not get into the character's head, it must be open and spread their ghosts on the carpet. All the characters in the novel, the old Pascal Froment, via the Dream Team, all sweat on their neurons. They spin the brain, but they do "one-man thing" not ... These are all characters that come out [...] the protagonist's head by force of evocation. Finally, by force of torture, to be honest.

Bernard Magnier: you interpret Heart Children leopards in daptation done with your brother Dieudonne, in what state of mind do you approach this role? Is this a role "as another"?
Criss Niangouna: I'm excited to play Heart Children leopards. I approach with relish the prospect of incarnating this character, caught in a storm event. I met the author with whom I had great discussions about the text and character, and this has fueled this enthusiasm. However, this motivation is accompanied by anxiety, jitters, questions, the idea of being or not being at the height of romance or character, as in all the actors before each new challenge.

Come, Criss, you were at the height!

Finally, here is what the author hopes he has some time:

"In recent years, Congo has not registered under the heading of good news, then do not be choosy, Heart Children leopard TARMAC, written, acted and directed by son of Brazzaville, hope this helps raise the profile of the Congo. I hope the Congolese community seems to be happening at the gates of La Villette in March ... "

So vow made? This first, Congo was well represented, I think I was there with my man, Gangoueus was there with his beautiful, not to mention other Congolese who had been heard in the language of dialogue before the start of the show, there's even one that I recognized him as an actor, I've seen play at home, I dug brains to remember what occasion ...

Well, Congolese and Congolese literature lovers, you who loved this book or want to find out, you have until March 19 for see in its theater and to read it, if not already done so.

Good show!

Lord Of The Ring Audiobook Unabridged

My brother by Jamaica Kincaid

's brother Jamaica Kincaid is isolated in a room of a dilapidated hospital in Antigua, West Indies. He has AIDS. He is in critical condition. He will die. From the perspective of school staff, the more the better, it would make a person less caring, a bed would be released. From the perspective of society as well. To all there, right, AIDS: we will die, there is nothing we can do. If treatments exist only delay death, so why spend large sums for someone who already has one foot in the grave? These treatments are so expensive there has not even in pharmacies, the standard of living of the inhabitants of the island is so small!

But Devon is fortunate to have a sister who lives in the United States and who has friends in the medical field, so she manages to have orders him to get what it takes to extend the days of those suffering, regardless of credits it must contract for it, if it helps relieve his brother, though it may win him a few days, weeks, there is no eSite to have.

But this brother, she did not know that much, it has long been separated from him, separated from her family in fact, the one where she grew up, before leaving to found his own. So what feelings she feels for this brother? For his other brothers? What feelings she feels for her mother? The relationship with it is complex, it reminds me somewhat to Viper in the Fist, Hervé Bazin. Telling the story of this brother's newest family returned to the author to engage itself, to get completely naked. The words themselves are presented in all their nakedness, without any frills. This may seem brutal, shocking and beautiful all at once:

" My speech was full of pain, she was full of distress, she was full of anger, there came no peace, it There came a lot of grief, but there came no peace. How did I feel? "I do not know how I felt. I was a burning feeling ." (P. 52)

The "good" as those thoughts away from the politically correct, Jamaica does conceals nothing. And the reader, faced with this window open to the intimacy of a family, his loves, his hatreds, his hypocrisy, his meanness, his weaknesses, desires, hopes deceived ... is obliged to consider himself the kind of human being he is. Who are we? Who is the other? Who is it for me?

This book also shows the path that led the author to write. Jamaica Kincaid said to be " became a writer out of desperation "

" When I was young, younger am now that I started writing about my own life and I've come to see that this act saved my life. When I learned that my brother was sick and he was dying, I knew instinctively that to understand it, or to attempt to understand his death and not die with him, I would write this About . "
(p. 184)

In fact, all the author's books relate to his life, his past. This is an interrogation of the disease, death, sexuality, religion, love, relationship with the other ... well almost everything is there.

My brother was awarded the Prix Femina in 2000 abroad.

Song Themed Appetizers

Africa Paris Meeting of February 24, 2011

Meetings Africa Paris, I've already talked about here. The name is found: it is a place of "encounters", beautiful games! With authors, no doubt, but mostly with literature enthusiasts. At the meeting on 24 February, there were beautiful people! Novelists, literary critics, academics, press officers, avid readers ... What a pleasure to be with the family!

Tchak Sami and Jean Noël Schifano .

The guests of the day were Mamadou Mahmoud Sami Ndongo and Chak, who so captivated the attention of the public that copies of their books have disappeared faster than expected. Some stayed with their money in hand: there was nothing! They should go and visit their small bookseller!

was interesting to listen Mamadou Mahmoud Ndongo comment on its experience, the commitment is the foundation of his latest novel, The geometry variables.

Liss and Mamadou Mahmoud N'Dongo.

As for Sami Chak, his say is still in charge of the light that emanates from the mind of men.

Liss and Philippe Ngalla-Ngoi.

Both were accompanied their editor, Jean Noël Schifano.

But I told you there was only great people. Among the novelists: Bios Diallo Doszen Joss, Jean-Aimé Dibakana ... I had the joy of seeing my former professor of linguistics at the Faculty of Letters of Brazzaville, Mr. Nicolas Martin-Granel, author of several books well. And like many former students of this faculty were there, including Philip Ngalla-Ngoi, naturally, we moved there in thought, to return quickly, because a man impatient: time!
Bios Diallo and Sami Chak.

There was also talk of comics done in Democratic Congo, a project supported by partners who were present in the room and thereby supporting organization against AIDS. Difficult to talk about everything and everybody, I'm just a brief summary.

Philip and Sami.

Gangouéus was flying as usual, but Penda Traoré, his accomplice or collaborator was not there, it was necessary to try to replace it, but hey, the joviality of Penda not be replaced!

short, I Calls to monitor the dates of future meetings, they are worth the trip!
